The concept of Dark Light was thought up by me, Magik, your webmistress. I use the name Dark Light because it was the name of my Street Team, as well as being the title of the album which helped HIM earn their Gold Status in the USA- making them the first Finnish band to do so.
As for creating the site, countless hours went into the thought process & design of this website, and I am continuously striving to make it elite, both for the sake of the fans, and as a tribute to the band we all admire, love & worship.
The idea of this website was
One- To make a HIM website that can help promoters
(official or unofficial)
all over the world promote this amazing band.
Second- Content wise, I wanted to find the best information out there
on the interwebs, and create a "portal" into that content, thus making it easier for new &
old fans to find information all in one place.
Third- to make a site that pays honour & serves as a tribute as best as I can to
5 very fine Gentlemen that have given me so much.
Everything I can find, that I consider the best & most reliable of information, is going into the content of this website along with exclusive content of my own (credit will always be given, where credit is due, of course). I will constantly be adding content as I find it fitting, as well as doing my very best to give you updates on the band, through the blog.
I really hope you enjoy this website, and please let me know if there is anything you'd like to see me improve on, or add, as this website is for you- the fans! I'm not looking in any way to gain any profit from this website, nor am I expecting any sort of 'recognition' for the work I've put into this site. I am just like you- merely a fan. Also, I do not wish to discourage fans from visiting the Official Heartagram site- I encourage you to do so.
