HIM's 5th full length album. It was released on 26, Sept., 2005 internationally & on 27, Sept., 2005 in the US with a limited edition pre-release of 20,000 days before.

There was a limited tin can edition released in the USA featuring two bonus tracks, "Venus (In Our Blood)" and "The Cage".

There was also a double vinyl release of 'Dark Light' featuring the two bonus tracks and a cover of the Ramones' "Poison Heart".

The album peaked at #1 on the Finnish charts. 'Dark Light' was the first Finnish album to sell Gold in the United States.
